Wrapped in orange dress
of hope is the dance.
Fluttering veil seals
renewed serene bliss.
Fans turn in the air
tasting this new flair
of hope tied in rope,
invisible thread
that beats with the heart.
Bathing in moonlight
of newly found joy
I danced my hope with
a fluttering veil
and turned my fans in
the winds of a change.

You must have a technical problem. This is a youtube video unless youtube is prohibited in your country?

No. It’s not. I guess there might be some problem in my internet connection.

Yes, I think it is that. Check it out. The other people had no problems.

I see now. Subscribed! I was stunted by the round circles and the shapes and the veil and then… Suddenly, you flash out two fans (dunno how to call it)! Fantastic!!! Well done. You are very good at belly dancing.

I only read your words now. They go along nicely with the video. I love modern poetry. That where we write, picture or video and share not only moments but thoughts and insights!! Dance for hope, I vouch for that!

Marta, I am a big fan.
Such wondrous hope
to fan the glorious flame
… of freedom.

Thank you for such lovely poetic response,
David, let us keep the flame of freedom
alive and beating high up in our hearts.
Unbolt the forgotten windows inside us
and crack them into thousand pieces
if they refuse to be unbolted and opened.
As we’ll pass the torch to one another
in our olympic race towards a better world
we will all open new landscapes of hope.

Loved this. The video is a fine illustration of the soaring sords.

Thank you, so glad you loved this. But, soaring sords? I am not sure if I understand this. Did you mean soaring swords perhaps?

I did mean soaring words, in the metaphorical sense, evoking your spirit flying freely. No swords were involved! 🙂

Thank you for the clarification. 😄 I think I took it this way because I have swords in mind for my next post. Haha!

Amazing! How easily you were using the prop (Sorry I don’t know what exactly it is called. A hand fan?)

The inventors of the giant hand-held fans were a Spanish music group called Locomia in the 80s: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k00rMX9GFR0
